New Roof and Siding Installation in Northport

AT A GLANCE

Project Type	Roofing and Siding Replacement
City/Town	Northport
Completion Date	August 2026

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

This Northport home underwent a major exterior renovation that included a complete roof replacement along with new siding, trim and gutter work. The leaking roof was replaced with a new roofing system finished in Owens Corning Onyx Black shingles, while the exterior received CertainTeed siding in Smokey Grey with contrasting architectural accents. The result was a comprehensive update that improved both the home’s weather protection and overall appearance.

SCOPE OF WORK

The existing roof was removed and replaced with a complete roofing system that included new underlayment, ice and water protection, drip edge, flashing, ridge ventilation and other roofing components as needed. Owens Corning architectural shingles in Onyx Black were installed as the finished roofing surface.

The exterior siding was also removed down to the sheathing, with damaged plywood repaired as needed before installation of Tyvek house wrap and fanfold insulation. CertainTeed Monogram D5 siding in Smokey Grey was installed across the primary exterior along with contrasting board-and-batten sections. Additional work included PVC trim around windows and doors, aluminum capping, soffit, shutters, exterior accessories, new seamless gutters and leaders, and preparation of the front entrance for a stone façade.
