New Siding Installation in Kings Park

AT A GLANCE

Project Type	New Siding Installation
City/Town	Kings Park
Completion Date	July 2026

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The aging siding on this Kings Park home had reached the point where a complete replacement was needed. Non Stop removed the existing exterior and rebuilt the siding system with updated weather protection, insulation and a combination of CertainTeed siding styles. The finished design uses complementary textures to add dimension while maintaining a unified Smokey Grey exterior.

SCOPE OF WORK

The existing siding was removed down to the original sheathing and damaged plywood was replaced as needed. New Tyvek house wrap and fanfold insulation were installed before finishing the front of the home with CertainTeed D7 Cedar Shake Impressions and the sides and rear with CertainTeed Monogram D5 Rough Cedar Clapboard, all in Smokey Grey. The project also included new aluminum capping, corner posts, J-channels, soffit, gable vents and other exterior finishing components.
